SSea Salt was founded in 2009 by entrepreneurial Mainer, Shawn McEwen. As a company, we really care about Maine and about keeping our waters clean so we can truly be a certified, sustainable fishery. We care about Maine Lobster because we know it is the most succulent lobster in the world. Over the years, we've become experts at moving Maine’s tender, juicy, and tasty live lobsters or meat to you for your customers anywhere from Saco, ME to Seoul Korea and beyond.

Our buying power allows us to deliver the highest quality, freshest, live lobster and lobster meat. We buy and sell hundreds of thousands of pounds each week. The relationships we've built with wharfs in Downeast Maine (often referred to as the heart of Maine Lobster waters) helps us meet our goal of providing a superior product, at affordable prices.
